BEWARE
OF THIS BOOK!!!
If you have children or grandchildren, work with
children at church, or you
have neighborhood children whose parents you know,
please take note of the
information below and pass it along to others. Schools
are distributing this book to children through the
Scholastic Book Club.
The name of the book is Conversations with God.. James
Dobson talked about this book twice this week. It is
devastating. Parents, churches and Christian schools
need to be aware of it. Please pass this information on
to church/ e-mail addressees, Parents, Grandparents,
Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends.
Please pay special attention not only to what your kids
watch on TV, in movie theaters, on the internet, and the
music they listen to, but also be alert regarding the
books they read.
Two particular books are, Conversations with God and
Conversations with God
for Teens, written by Neale D. Walsch. They sound
harmless enough by their titles alone. The books have
been on the New York Times best sellers list
for a number of weeks, and they make truth of the
statement, "Don't judge a book by its cover or title."
The author purports to answer various questions asked by
kids using the "voice of God". However, the "answers"
that he gives are not Bible-based and
go against the very infallible word of God. For instance
(and I paraphrase), when a girl asks the question "Why
am I a lesbian?" His answer is that she
was 'born that way' because of genetics (just as you
were born right-handed, with brown eyes, etc.). Then he
tells her to go out and "celebrate" her differences.
Another girls poses the question "I am living with my
boyfriend. My parents say that I should marry him
because I am living in sin. Should I marry him?"
His reply is, "Who are you sinning against? Not me,
because you have done
nothing wrong."
Another question asks about God's forgiveness of sin.
His reply "I do not forgive anyone because there is
nothing to forgive. There is no such thing
as right or wrong and that is what I have been trying to
tell everyone, do not judge people. People have chosen
to judge one another and this is wrong,
because the rule is "'judge not lest ye be judged." Not
only are these books the false doctrine of the devil,
but in some
instances quote (in error) the Word of God. And the list
goes on. These books (and others like it) are being sold
to
schoolchildren through (The Scholastic Book Club), and
we need to be aware of what is being fed to our
children.
Our children are under attack. So I pray that you be
sober and vigilant about teaching your children the Word
of God, and guarding their exposure to
worldly mediums, because our adversary, the Devil, roams
about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1
Peter 5:8). We know that lions usually
hunt for the slowest, weakest and YOUNGEST of its prey.

THIS IS NOT RIGHT |

THE TEACHER WHO EXPOUNDED ON HER RIGHT
TO VOTE FOR PRO-ABORTION CANDIDATES
ON AT LEAST TWO OCCASIONS IN FRONT
OF CHILDREN AT THIS SCHOOL IN THE
CLASSROOM, IS NOW THE
PRINCIPAL!
WHAT DOES THIS TELL PARENTS AND
PROSPECTIVE PARENTS REGARDING AN
AUTHENTIC CATHOLIC LEARNING
EXPERIENCE?
Tell the Truth Boldly, Urges Pontiff
VATICAN CITY, JUNE 24, 2007 (Zenit.org).-
Benedict XVI, on the solemnity of the birth of St. John the Baptist, called on
the Church to bear "witness to the truth without compromise."
Recalling the beheading of John the Baptist, the Bishop of Rome added: "As an
authentic prophet, John bore witness to the truth without compromise. He
denounced transgressions of God's commandments, even when the protagonists were
people in power.Saint Peter's Regional Catholic School

WARNING - WARNING - WARNING
TO ALL CONCERNED PARENTS WHO UNDERSTAND THEIR
RESPONSIBILITY REGARDING THE SPIRITUAL WELFARE OF THEIR CHILDREN'S SOULS AND
SALVATION:
Facts to take into consideration and bring up
as legitimate concerns to the Principal before enrolling your child in Saint
Peter's
Be advised that everything written about below can be
backed up with physical evidence...letters, phone calls, etc.
-
The current 2006-2007 Social Studies teacher for
5th through 8th grades freely speaks about her anti-Catholic political
leanings such as the righteousness of voting for a candidate who the
students know is pro-abortion. She speaks freely to her students about these
unethical anti-Catholic viewpoints. What will your child learn from this?
That it's ok for a Catholic to vote for a PRO-ABORTION candidate. And this,
within the walls of a Catholic school.
-
The principal does nothing to stop this.
-
The Christmas Pageant which is supposed to glorify
our Redeemer and His birth, also glorifies the pagan religions, the dead
religions, and the secular values of the world and places them at the same
level of the Birth of Jesus. What do I mean? If you were there this past
year you would have heard a song whose refrain went like this: "Merry
Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Peaceful Solstice, Joyful Kwanzaa!" Hanukkah is a
celebration of a dead religion, solstice is a celebration of the sun; a
pagan celebration dating back to the Druids of Middle Age Western Europe;
today it is known as witchcraft, paganism, earth worship and/or goddess
worship. Kwanzaa is a celebration of earthly man
made values invented by an African American professor in 1964 as a response
to the terrible treatment of blacks in our country at the time. Why are we
celebrating man made values when we should solely be celebrating God-given
virtues found in Jesus?
-
The principal, with the pastor's backing
(according to the principal),
approves. She claims that they are following the directives of Vatican II.
It is not true as nowhere in the documents of Vatican II is it found that
false religions are to be elevated to the level of our truth. Read
Dominus Iesus, the
document promulgated by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in
2000, and you will know the truth.
-
So there you go. Know all these things to be true
before you enroll your child. As per our experience, the majority of the
teachers at the school are God fearing people who would never dream of
mocking God in the manner here described, for mocking God is exactly what is
being done.
-
If you value the innocence and the safety of
your child's soul and eternal salvation, as good Catholic parents MUST, then
investigate this and demand change. You're not paying tuition in a Catholic
school for your children to be exposed to non-Catholic ideologies.
-
If you have any questions or would like to hear
about good orthodox Roman Catholic alternatives, feel free to email me at
catholicmilitant@gmail.com. You may
also email me requesting proofs. I have it all in writing AND recorded phone
conversations.
The pastor called me this morning to express his
disapproval of what I have written. I have written only the facts. Keep in
mind that the facts involve only
three persons, the pastor, the
principal and the social studies
teacher. ALL OTHER INSTRUCTORS ARE
INNOCENT. Please keep in mind that
this is NOT an attack on the
character of the school, but on the satanic
influence which seeks to confuse in
order to conquer. Think about it.
Historically, all Satan has ever
needed was a small crack in the
shield of vigilance and like a
snake, he crawls in and causes
discord and chaos. These issues I
bring up may seem small and
insignificant, but they are exactly
what Satan uses to expand his
influence. No one notices until the
damage is done.
-
The pastor called me again; this time to play at
semantics with me. He seemed to be more concerned with the alleged
"embarrassment" of the principal than with my valid and serious concerns. We
came to a supposed agreement, but until I see the proof, this page stays up
as a warning.
-
3 weeks later. No proof. I am assuming the pastor
has no intention of coming to an agreement and I also assume that he will
continue to allow behavior which is hostile to our Catholic faith and
potentially damaging to your children's souls to prevail at the school.
-
Do as I do - continue to pray for him and the
errant staff members.

URGENT!! WHAT
ARE THEY TEACHING??
I thought this additional postscript to the
warning below would be invaluable in the
defense of my position. I came across an
essay written by a 7th grader in Saint
Peters for his religion class. The essay was
written in the school year 2006-2007 or
2007-2008. The apparent purpose of the essay
was to indicate similarities between
Christianity and Islam. Although there are
exterior similarities such as monotheism,
the student wrote about a similarity I've
never heard of, but which can be directly
attributed to the substance of my complaint
against this school. He wrote that "another
thing we have in common is that both
religions were founded by a prophet;
Mohammed founded Islam and Jesus founded
Christianity. So, now Jesus, the Son of
God....God, Himself, is relegated to the
status of prophet. Read the WARNING above to understand more of what you will be
involving your child in if you choose to
enroll in this school. |

Catholic teachers must share the
faith with their lives, says Spanish
cardinal
Toledo, June 9 (CNA).-The
Archbishop of Toledo, Cardinal
Antonio Canizares Llovera, said this
week teachers at Catholic schools
must not only "transmit the faith
with words but also with the
explicit testimony of their own
lives."
In an article on
Catholic schools, the cardinal said
they "propose a Christian vision of
man and the world that offers
children and young people the
possibility of a fruitful dialogue
between faith and reason, of
encountering the truth, depending on
it and being guided by it."
He went on to
underscore that "truth, goodness and
beauty are fundamental contents and
ends of a Catholic school," which
should be "at the service of truth"
and should teach everything about
Jesus Christ, "who is the truth in
person, and not something abstract
or unreal."
In today's world,
the cardinal explained, Catholic
schools should embrace a teaching
strategy that allows students to
"not only acquire human, moral and
spiritual maturity, but also to
become involved in the
transformation of society and be
concerned with collaborating on the
coming and establishing of the
Kingdom of God among us."
"At the center of
everything," he continued, must be
"the human person, the dignity of
all human beings, the establishing
of fundamental human rights created
not by human powers, nor forged
through a consensus or through
parliamentarian majorities, but
rather that precede them and that
are inscribed in man's very being."
He also called on
teachers to be true evangelizers and
to bring students into a closer
relationship with Jesus Christ.
So what
does this mean to Saint Peters
School? It means that the Social
Studies teacher must lead an
exemplary life and she should not be
politicizing her students in a
manner contrary to Catholic teaching
. It means that if the Principal and
the Pastor are made aware of such
errors, they must act to correct the
error, not be complicit with their
cowardly silence. That's what the
article means!
